Luxembourg will provide satellite communications and space surveillance, and the Netherlands will contribute a 150-strong maneuver unit that operates with Boxer fighting vehicles, including its own medical support capability.
Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder said that Belgium will participate in EU battlegroups, which serve as the basis for this rapid deployment capacity in 2024.
The Defense Ministers of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands said they work together in training military personnel and procuring and maintaining ships and are logistically intertwined. They also plan to jointly procure, maintain and operate reconnaissance drones.
