In a joint statement, the ministers urged all parties to keep the ceasefire and resolve disputes through peaceful means. They reaffirmed the obligation of all states to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of others, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, and stressed the importance of protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure during armed conflicts, in line with international humanitarian law and UN Security Council resolutions.
They expressed support for de-escalation efforts, including those led by the UN, aimed at restoring constructive dialogue.
