The ministers met online on Monday  with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) and the meeting was chaired by Vietnam’s Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh.

They urged ASEAN businesses to work more closely with the governments in implementing objectives set out in the Hanoi Plan of Action and the Action Plan approved by the group and its partners to mitigate the economic impact of the pandemic in the region, consolidate regional supply chains, and promote post-pandemic economic recovery.
