He highlighted Vietnam’s responsible and enthusiastic contribution to ASEAN over the past 25 years and praised Vietnam’s selection of ‘Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN’ as the theme for its chairmanship.

Dr. Munir emphasized that Vietnam, as ASEAN chair, has the responsibility of leading ASEAN to overcome current difficulties, adding that what Vietnam has done proves that it respects its role as an ASEAN member.
