Art exhibitions on Thang Long-Hanoi's history and culture open

(VOVWORLD) -Two art exhibitions showcasing hundreds of documents and photos depicting the history, culture, land, and people of Thang Long – Hanoi will be held in Hanoi this week, to mark Hanoi's 69th Liberation Day (October 10).

The "Old Citadel, Old Street" exhibition, featuring 180 documents, photos, maps, and technical drawings, offers a fresh perspective on Thang Long – Hanoi from the 19th to the mid-20th century. It will open this Friday at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

The "Sword Lake: East-West Crossroads" exhibition also offers a captivating glimpse of Hanoi during the late 19th and early 20th century.

The exhibition unfolds across three themes: Sword Lake transformation, preservation of Sword Lake’s historical and cultural essence, and Sword Lake: A Hub of Service and Cultural Entertainment.

The exhibition will open this Thursday at the Hoan Kiem Lake Cultural Information Center.
