Vietnam is the 10th largest economy in Asia, with a gross domestic product (GDP) of 410 billion USD, with a projected growth of 6.5% this year, according to the newspaper.
In its article titled “Investing in Vietnam, a market with a stable economy”, journalist Gabriela Origlia quoted Guillermo Cena, an Argentinian businessman specializing in importing products from Argentina who has been running a store called Del Plata - Argentina Market in Ho Chi Minh City for the last 5 years.
He said that Vietnam offers ample investment opportunities and potential for Argentine products and services, including a market segment for “high quality food”.
Meanwhile, Campanera, owner of Serendipity Bros, specializing in leather tanning, with 13 years of experience investing in Asia and 7 years working in Vietnam, called on Argentinian entrepreneurs to invest in Vietnam, which has a stable economy and is on the rise.
The Vietnamese government is open and always creating opportunities for production development and global integration, he said.
Both said Vietnam is a starting point for investors to expand their operations to Thailand, Malaysia and other countries in Asia.
