(VOVWORLD) - 935 people were killed in Iran during the recent 12-day conflict with Israel, based on the latest forensic data, a spokesperson for the Iranian judiciary said on Monday. Among the dead were 38 children and 132 women, the spokesperson said.

Iran did not reveal how many top officials, military generals, or nuclear scientists were killed. It also did not mention the casualties from the US airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites on June 22.

Tehran's deputy foreign minister Majid Takht Ravanchi said the US must rule out any further strikes on Iran if it wants to resume diplomatic talks. Ravanchi said US officials, through intermediaries, told Iran they want to restart talks. However, the US has not given a key assurance—it won’t attack Tehran during the negotiations.

US President Donald Trump said Monday he won’t make any concessions or hold talks with Iran, claiming Tehran’s nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian announced Iran’s suspension of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying the IAEA chief had acted in a biased manner.

Iran’s Roads and Urban Development Ministry earlier announced that it has reopened its airspace in central and western areas to transiting international flights. Domestic flights linking the western half of the country to Tehran's airports are not yet permitted, the official added.
