The Hanoi Tourism Department has collaborated with the site's Management Board to organize the annual gift giving event since 2018.

This year, the department has planned 80,000 gift bags for people visiting President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during major holidays: Reunification Day (April 30), May Day (May 1), President Ho Chi Minh's Birthday (May 19), and National Day (September 2).
