Hoang Nam, Director of the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, said: “Dealing with the consequences of bombs, mines, and unexploded ordnance left over from the war is considered a long-term issue. It’s necessary to construct a model for risk management when bombs, mines, and UXOs are detected in any province. It’s also essential to prepare human resources, provided with enough equipment and technologies, to support the resolution of war’s consequences across the province in a sustainable manner, especially when the international humanitarian aid projects come to an end.”
