(VOVworld) - Peace Trees Vietnam will do more to clear up unexploded ordnances in Vietnam. Chief Representative of Peace Trees Vietnam, Robert Stokes told Chairman of Vietnam US Association, Nguyen Tam Chien, in Hanoi on Friday that his delegation will cooperate with local mass organizations and look for additional funding to support on-going landmine clearance projects in central Vietnam.

Peace Trees Vietnam has supported the removal of 64,000 unexploded ordnances and cleaned up more than 183 hectares of land exposed to landmines. It also engaged in various humanitarian activities, including the building of schools, libraries and houses for local people.
