As of 16:30 February 17, nearly 400 people underwent testing for SARS-CoV-2 at Quang Ninh General Hospital, and more than 350 people at Bai Chay Hospital. At Bai Chay Hospital, test service users are mainly workers at factories, cadres, civil servants, and staff of the provincial agencies, who returned home to celebrate Tet holiday. The Quang Ninh provincial People's Committee requested, from February 16, whoever arrive in Quang Ninh must be tested for SARS-CoV-2. Test takers are instructed on medical declaration, screened, categorizing to ensure distancing. Testers will take sample specimens for SARS-CoV-2 testing if there are low risk factors. If there is a high risk factor, test takers will be transferred to the Department of Tropical Diseases for medical examination, testing, and medical isolation according to regulations.
