International arrivals to Hanoi on the rise

(VOVWORLD) - More tourists are visiting Vietnam’s capital now that COVID-19 is under control. 

According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, nearly 6 million people visited the capital in the first quarter of this year.

The number of international visitors to Hanoi increased 18 times over the same period last year.

Hanoi earned 362 million USD from tourism activities in April, up 54.2% over the same period last year.

In April alone, the number of international visitors to Hanoi increased 7 times from the same period in 2022.

Hanoi draws a large number of Asian tourists.
