The main dam of Ngan Trui Irrigation Lake in Vu Quang district hosts the opening ceremony of the festival.

Among a series of events celebrating the 31st SEA Games, Ha Tinh province has been chosen by the organisers as the venue to hold the hot air balloon demonstration.

Vu Quang district is the first place in the world to discover Sao La, the mascot chosen as the symbol of the 31st SEA Games.

A total of 10 hot air balloons are introduced at the event.

Technical staff are on hand to carefully check balloons before the start of the performance.

People are able to experience flying hot air balloons, with a maximum of three guests for each flight

Hot air balloons fly at a maximum height of 50 metres.

Military forces also participate in protecting and maintaining order at the function.
