The Youth Union in Bac Kan province launched Youth Month with the theme “Toward the border” to encourage local young people to get involved in border security.

Ma Thi Man, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, said: "The Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union will continue to conduct exchanges with border units, will diversify our activities to make the exchanges more effective, will share difficulties with the people and soldiers in border areas, and will help educate local young people."

In March, the Da Nang Youth Union worked with the local Doctors’ Association to organize free medical exams and treatment for heroic Vietnamese mothers, revolutionary contributors, and disadvantaged young people.

Le Cong Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang municipal Youth Union, said: "During Youth Month, we promoted creativity among young people helping the community. We set up a Community Advisory Club for COVID-19, helped poor people by giving them gifts, and built charity houses."

Summarizing activities, First Secretary of the Youth Union’s Central Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan said the Youth Month campaigns have made a difference: "The theme for Youth Month this year was “Creative Youth” so all activities held in localities were aimed at promoting young people’s creativity in contributing to national socio-economic development and national defense."
