A senior Israeli defense official confirmed that Iran and Hezbollah launched waves of projectiles toward central and northern Israel, describing the barrage as the first coordinated attack on Israel since the conflict reignited.
Hezbollah is increasingly reverting to guerrilla warfare tactics in southern Lebanon, relying on small, dispersed units to confront Israeli forces. The group is drawing lessons from its previous war with Israel as it prepares for the possibility of a full-scale Israeli invasion and a prolonged conflict, returning to the guerrilla warfare strategy that once defined its operations in southern Lebanon.
Operating in small units, Hezbollah fighters are reportedly avoiding the use of communication devices that could be intercepted by Israeli intelligence. They are also rationing key anti-tank rockets while engaging Israeli troops on the ground.
The human toll in Lebanon continues to rise sharply. Lebanese authorities say Israeli airstrikes have killed 634 people since March 2, including 91 children, and more than 800,000 people have been displaced from their homes.
