Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son said that timely, accurate and forward-looking market information is extremely important for both government policy management and business operations in a world experiencing increased volatility.
He stressed that building an integrated digital platform connecting information of Vietnam's 64 trade offices abroad, domestic management agencies and the business community is the right direction and should be implemented in a determined, systematic and effective manner.
Son said the platform should aim at improving the quality of governance and management in international trade, supporting businesses in expanding export markets, and creating breakthroughs in developing overseas markets.
“The development of the digital platform must be closely linked to the real needs of businesses. Associations and the business community should be encouraged to actively participate in the system, as they are both beneficiaries and important providers of information for the trade data ecosystem. Associations and businesses need to actively use and contribute data to the platform, seeing it as an important tool to access market information, improve competitiveness and expand export activities,” said Deputy Prime Minister Son.
Vietnam aims to earn export turnover of about 546–550 billion USD in 2026, a growth of 15–16% compared with 2025.
