Ly Dac Nam of a travel agency said Quang Ninh has worked hard to reopen their services and welcome back tourists.

“We came here two days in advance to survey all the sites and routes that tourists will visit this time. I see the quick cleanup and preparation for welcoming tourists by the local authority and all the people. All current conditions are guaranteed to be safe and suitable for welcoming guests,” Nam said.

From the beginning of the year, the number of international visitors to Quang Ninh has reached about 70% of the set target and this October, there will be more cruise ships to dock at Ha Long.

Although much work remain to be done, the Quang Ninh tourism industry are optimistic about achieving its the goal of welcoming 19 million visitors, including 3.5 million international visitors in 2024.
