Themed "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa – Sacred Sea and Islands", the documents and materials on display included precious maps and images kept at the Vietnam National Archives Center, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and the Naval Museum. Some documents were collected from the French and American National Libraries. There were documents of the Nguyen Dynasty, which have been recognized by UNESCO as World Documentary Heritage.

The organizers also introduced pictures of the Navy and Naval Region 2’s training activities, combat readiness, defense diplomacy, and patrolling and managing the sea areas. The exhibition has attracted public attention, strengthened trust and sense of responsibility in protecting Vietnam’ssea and islands sovereignty.
