(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed a decision last Friday to establish the Institute of Environment, Sea and Islands Science under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The institute is tasked with conducting basic research on and applying technologies to the environment, sea, and islands.

It will provide scientific and technology services on the environment, sea, and islands in line with the law.
