At the meeting, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Lam, Director of the Vietnam Naval Academy, emphasized that after nearly 57 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia, the military relationship between the two countries has contributed to peace, stability, cooperation and development of each country as well as in the region.

Last year, the Naval Academy and the Cambodian Navy established a twinning relationship to strengthen solidarity and mutual support.

For his part, Major General Leang Sovannara highly appreciated the results of cooperation and assistance of the Naval Academy in training officers for the Cambodian Navy and congratulated the Academy for its achievements in education and training and build a clean, compact, strong and modern institution.
