Tran Kim Yen, Chairwoman of the HCMC Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said the art exchange helped to communicate and raise the awareness of cadres, youth union members, and the public in Ho Chi Minh City on the role and position of Vietnam’s borders, sea, and islands. It encouraged overseas Vietnamese to be more united and responsive to activities toward the national sea and islands.
So far, the art exchange program has received more than 15 million USD to support soldiers and people in the border and island areas.
