The summer camp is a venue for young Overseas Vietnamese to exchange and strengthen their unity, while enriching their knowledge and life skills.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union Central Committee, Nguyen Anh Tuan, told the opening ceremony: “Vietnamese Students’ Associations in Europe have contributed significantly to students’ movements, Vietnam’s external relations, and overseas Vietnamese affairs.”

The 4-day summer camp included folk games, a cooking contest of Vietnamese dishes, and a contest on Vietnam’s history and landscape. The Organizing Board also inaugurated an exhibition displaying paintings, photos, maps, and documents on Vietnam’s sea and islands.
