As of November 14, the province had 8,222 registered fishing vessels, including 7,470 licensed vessels, accounting for 90.85% of the boats updated on VNFishbase.

The remaining two tasks of finalizing support policies for vessel decommissioning and occupational transition, and developing the occupational transition project for 2026–2030 are currently being expedited by relevant departments.
