Speaking at the closing ceremony, Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung, praised the necessity of improving workers’ skills in the context of international integration’s opportunities and challenges. “The competition’s success will stimulate vocational training movement nationwide as well as the national human resource development plan. I appreciate the winners and hope that all participants will continue to improve their skills. Obviously, our labor force is capable to join the international labor market.”

About 500 people participated in the National Skills Competition from May 23-30. Winners will compete at the 11th ASEAN Skills Competition in Malaysia.
