Mr. Lu Minh Thuan was born March 08, 1966. His address is An Khoa Hamlet, Vinh My B Commune, Hoa Binh District, Bac Lieu Province, Vietnam (now An Khoa hamlet, Vinh My commune, Ca Mau Province, Vietnam).

On June 30, 2025, the People’s Court of Bac Lieu Province held a first-instance hearing for the divorce case filed by Mr. Lu Minh Thuan.

In the first-instance judgment on marriage and family No.26/2025/HNGĐ-ST dated June 30, 2025, the People’s Court of Bạc Liêu Province ruled as follows:

1. Marital relationship:

The Court accepts the petition for divorce initiated by Mr. Lu Minh Thuan against Mrs. Do Thi Thuat (also known as Do Thi Candy).

It is ordered and decreed by the Court that Mr. Lu Minh Thuan, born on March 08, 1966, and Mrs. Do Thi Thuat (or Do Thi Candy), born March 01, 1969, are divorced and that the marriage between them is dissolved. 

2. Shared children, assets and debts: As confirmed by Mr. Lu Minh Thuan, there are none and there is no request for settlement.

3. First-instance civil court fees for marriage and family matters and judicial entrustment fee:

3.1. First-instance civil court fees: Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has to pay 300,000 VND (three hundred thousand Vietnamese dong), which was already taken from a deposit court fee as described in Receipt No.0000582 dated November 08, 2024, issued by the Bac Lieu Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement. Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has already paid.

3.2. Judicial entrustment fee: Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has to pay 95 USD (ninety-five US dollars), which was already paid to ABC Legal Services Company (in the United States). The amount is a non-refundable fee.

3.3. Judicial entrustment fee: Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has to pay 200,000 VND (two hundred thousand Vietnamese dong), which was already taken from a deposit court fee as described in Receipt No. 0000605 dated November 29, 2024, issued by the Bac Lieu Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement. The amount is a non-refundable fee.

3.4. Public notice fee: Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has to pay 2,750,000 VND (two million, seven hundred and fifty thousand Vietnamese dong). Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has already paid. The amount is a non-refundable fee.

Mr. Lu Minh Thuan has the right to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling within 15 days since receiving the judgment or after the decree is announced. The duration for Mrs. Do Thi Thuat (also known as Do Thi Candy) to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling is one month after the decree is announced.

If Mrs. Do Thi Thua (also known as Do Thi Candy) does not file an appeal within one month from the date of the public notice, the judgment will take legal effect.
