The reopening is expected to be on Sunday. However, details on the flights or airlines allowed to operate here have not been revealed. Belgium’s Prime Minister Charles Michel hailed the agreement, saying the reopening held a symbolic meaning and was of great economic importance.

To ensure the airport security, there will be systematic checks of passengers and luggage entering the airport. An automatic identification software will be used to track vehicles’ number plates near the port and at the parking lot, 100m from the entrance. All actions happening inside the airport will also be monitored. The police will receive additional forces.
