Youth Olympic Games kicks off in Buenos Aires (Source: olympic.org)

The event, which honors sport spirits, diversity, and gender equality, saw the participation of 250.000 spectators at the square.  The Olympics, which is attended by 4,000 athletes aged 14 to 18 from 206 countries and territories, is the biggest sport event for the youth. 

13 Vietnamese athletes will compete in seven out of 32 sports at teh Games including badminton, gymnastics, taekwondo, dance sport, weightlifting, swimming and athletics.
