The Ministry of Home Affairs noted that over the past 78 years, the Party and the State have attached great importance to policies of gratitude and support for revolutionary contributors and their families. In particular, the standard allowance in 2025 increased by more than 70% compared to 2021.

Each year, the State President presents Lunar New Year gifts to people with meritorious service, a practice that reflects Vietnam’s fine traditions of “Remembering the source of the water we drink” and “Showing gratitude to those who have rendered service.”
