Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Hua Chunying called for the US to work with China for the shared goal of managing differences and maintaining a steady progress in China-US relations.

A senior Palestinian official said that President Trump's address foretold increased pressure on the Palestinians by highlighting the US-Israeli alliance. Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) member Hanna Amireh noted that the US might also take punitive measures against countries that voted in favor of Palestine in the last UN General Assembly vote, to denounce Trump's declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

In the US, a large majority of Americans polled had a positive reaction to Trump's speech.
