(VOVworld) – Japanese enterprises from the Kansai region learned about trade ties between Vietnam and Japan, the Vietnamese economy, and relevant policies at a workshop on investing in Vietnam held by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan, on Wednesday. Participants commended Vietnam for its business climate and investment opportunities during the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community, as well as its active role in establishing multilateral free trade agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. Business leaders expressed their hope for continuing support from the Vietnamese government, particularly in accelerating investment licensing.

More than 120 enterprises involved in industrial production, mechanical engineering, agriculture, imports and exports, cosmetics, construction, banking, and human resources, attended the event.
