A program called “Tet’s a time of get-togethers and love” took place in the northern province of  Bac Ninh on Sunday featuring a charity fair to ensure better care for workers, particularly in industrial zones. 

The event benefited more than 19,000 workers, who received free or discounted items. Trade Union leaders gave 2,000 gifts to union members and workers from disadvantaged families or who have a debilitating illness or occupational disease, and 10,000 bus tickets to allow workers to return home for Tet.

During a New Year program in the central province of Phu Yen on Sunday, 720 gift packages donated by 30 agencies and enterprises and worth a total of 23,000 USD were presented to workers.
