(VOVworld) – The World Health Organization on Friday announced preventative measures to assure safety for the healthcare workers during treatment to the patients affected with Ebola and Marburg virus.
WHO reminded healthcare workers of the need to protect their eyes, noses and mouths with masks, safety glasses and face shields. WHO also asked medical staff to wear two layers of gloves to prevent any risks of virus infection through holes or scraps. Up to October 27th, the WHO reported more than 13,700 Ebola infected cases and 4,920 deaths.
