These are the latest violations of the ceasefire between the two sides. The fighting took place near the headquarters of the armed forces, in the area east of Khartoum airport and in Kafouri, north of the capital.
Earlier, the two sides agreed to a 3-day ceasefire that expires on April 27. According to the Sudanese Ministry of Health, 600 people have been killed and 4,000 others injured.
On Thursday, after talks between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and African Union Commission Chairman Moussa Faki Mahamat, the US State Department issued a statement calling on the AU to continue to urge the warring parties in Sudan to stop the conflict.
