(VOVworld) – War veterans in the Mekong Delta province of Tay Ninh and Cambodia’s 4 bordering provinces will promote communications activities for greater advocacy of the foreign policies and border regulations of the two countries. This is one of the cooperative tasks set out until 2016 by the two war veteran associations at a Tuesday meeting where they also reviewed cooperation over the past 2 years.

Both sides agreed to step up the placement of markers along their border and ask local authorities to facilitate production and business links for war veterans, which will reduce poverty and increase security along the border.
