The National Traffic Safety Committee held the award ceremony in Hanoi yesterday and launched the award for next year.

Over the year the Organizing Board received more than 500 works from 50 press agencies nationwide. The series on handling overloaded vehicles by the News Department VOV1 won the first prize in the radio category.

Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Transport, Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, said: “The National Traffic Safety Committee expects that press agencies, reporters, and collaborators will continue to work with the Committee to communicate and educate traffic law and regulations to build a safe traffic culture for people. The Committee launches the Traffic Safety Press Award 2023. I hope we’ll receive many outstanding works.”
