During a meeting on Wednesday in the National Broadcasting Center, Hanoi, with the chiefs of the Vietnamese representative agencies who are set to embark on their overseas missions, Sy applauded the diplomatic agencies for their contributions to the Voice of Vietnam’s accomplishment of tasks in the past nearly 80 years.

VOV is currently running a series of multimedia political program called "Vietnam rising era" to affirm that the Party's leadership has steered the country to grow strongly and raised its prestige and position globally, he said.

“Information delivered by the Voice of Vietnam will be richer and more diverse with the support and assistance of the heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad. We hope that with the very good relationship, the caliber and importance of foreign affairs, we will coordinate better and more effectively so that VOV’s 13 overseas bureaus will have more access to sources of accurate, reliable and convincing information,” according to Sy.

Pham Thanh Binh, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador to China, said Vietnam's recent foreign policy achievements have had the support of press agencies, especially the Voice of Vietnam.

“The 13 overseas bureaus of the Voice of Vietnam serve not only as a bridge to convey information to the world about the policies of the Party, the State, and the image of the country but also keep the public more informed about the world. Ministry of Foreign Affairs' agencies abroad will continue to maintain cooperation, cohesion, and solidarity in delivering our shared tasks,” he said.
