Mr. Sy was born on November 2, 1965, in Hung Yen province. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Theory.
He has served as a member of the Party Central Committee for the 12th, 13th, and 14th terms, and is a deputy to the 14th and 15th National Assembly.
During his tenure in Hung Yen province, Mr. Sy held various leadership positions, including Secretary of the Van Lam District Party Committee; Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the provincial Literature and Arts Association; Deputy Secretary and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
In June 2021, the Prime Minister issued a decision appointing Mr. Do Tien Sy as President of the Voice of Vietnam.
