Meeting with Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Denny Abdi in VOV head office in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Sy affirmed that VOV’s Indonesian service is one of the foreign language radio channels born early in VOV's 76-year history. He expressed his hope that through the Ambassador, Indonesia would create more favorable conditions for the VOV Bureau in Indonesia to inform about bilateral relations and outstanding activities of ASEAN. Besides, VOV also wants to strengthen cooperation with National Radio Indonesia (RRI) and other the media agencies, he said.

Ambassador Abdi praised VOV's important role in promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries, saying the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia is flourishing. He affirmed continued coordination and support for VOV's information dissemination to strengthen the friendship between the two peoples.
