(VOVworld) – The revised Land Law, which consists of 14 chapters and 212 articles, was approved by the National Assembly on Friday morning with 89.96% of votes in favor. Positive changes to the revised Land Law have been welcomed by voters nationwide. Bui Duc Chien, a voter from Hai Phong city, said: "We are very happy with the positive changes in the revised Land Law as they have satisfied people’s aspirations. I think there should be appropriate compensation for any land acquired by the state and the government and people should initiate unified pricing policy to avoid inefficient land acquisitions and ensure people receive the benefits."

Voter Nguyen Van Trong from Hanoi said that changes to the revised Land Law, especially those which adjusted land prices and compensation levels due to market fluctuations, were very reasonable.Trong said: "We see a huge change in land compensation prices. However, we need more specific regulations to increase people’s trust. For example, it’s necessary to identify which projects are specifically for socio-economic development to avoid any confusion between social and business projects."
