With one gold, two silver and three bronze medals, Vietnam finished 14th out of 107 countries and territories participating in the contest, up three notches compared to last year’s event.
Meanwhile, all five Vietnamese students competing at the International Physics Olympiad 2021 pocketed medals, including three golds and two silvers. In the tally, Vietnam ranked seventh after the Republic of Korea, China, Russia, the US, Taiwan (China) and Romania in the competition organized virtually by Lithuania.
