(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held on Sunday in Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc province, to mark the city’s 115^th anniversary (29/12/1899 – 29/12/2014) and its recognition as a municipality of the 2^nd highest level. Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked Vinh Phuc provincial authorities to speed up socioeconomic development programs to boost local development.

Earlier the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection Ngo Van Du held working sessions with Vinh Phuc provincial authorities. Deputy PM Phuc hailed the province’s socioeconomic achievements over the past few years, especially its outstanding results in revenue collection, investment attraction, and party building activities in 2014.
