Located in the industrial park of Tamil Nadu Industrial Promotion Corporation (SIPCOT), the factory has an investment of 500 million USD in five years. It is designed to manufacture 150,000 vehicles annually and create about 3,000-5,000 jobs.

India, the world's third largest automobile market, is one of the key markets in VinFast's global expansion plan. VinFast also plans to establish a nationwide dealer network to build brand recognition and quickly connect with customers across India.

Committing to "good cars - good prices - excellent after-sales", VinFast hopes to contribute to the rapid popularization of electric vehicles in a country of more than 1.4 billion people and to the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
