Proactive adaptation, market diversification, and investment in technology help the sector maintain a positive growth. Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, said, “This year, we have maintained our exports to 138 countries and territories, with key markets remaining the US, the EU, Japan, the Republic of Korea, ASEAN, and China, while further expanding into the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Middle East, and Africa."
"The strategy of diversifying markets, customers, and products has proven effective. The supply of raw materials and accessories has increased, especially with investment flowing into previously lacking supply segments, indicating that our strategic direction is correct," according to Giang.

Many textile and garment enterprises have received full orders until the end of the first quarter next year and are negotiating new contracts for the second quarter. With a development orientation centered on sustainability and the circular economy, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association targets export turnover of 64 billion USD by 2030. The strategy focuses on “Green transition – Digital transformation,” increasing the localization rate to over 60% and building strong Vietnamese fashion brands.
