The Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and 8 leading Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises participated in the event from Tuesday to Thursday at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
This is the second time VITAS has taken part in the prestigious trade fair, which only admits businesses that meet strict international standards. Vietnamese exhibitors showcased denim, knitwear, women’s fashions, children’s fashion, and more.
Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang said Vietnamese businesses have adapted to the EU’s evolving standards by developing eco-friendly products.

Truong Van Cam, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of VITAS, said Europe, particularly France, is an untapped market for Vietnamese garments. European importers impose rigorous requirements of sustainability, supply chain transparency, labor practices, and environmental standards, but these challenges are also opportunities for Vietnamese firms seeking to diversify from the troubled US market.
