The FC Performance Evaluation is mandatory assessment held annually by the United Nations for all troop contributing countries and peace keeping missions. It aims to comprehensively review personnel’s operational capabilities to help improve future deployment’s effectiveness.

According to UN examiners, Vietnamese sappers demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and outstanding skills. The unit not only overcame climate, topographic, and security challenges in Abyei, but also accomplished all political tasks assigned to them, responded to emergencies promptly, and assisted the local community.

The unit has demonstrated solidarity and cooperation with other international forces and locals, according to UNISFA’s evaluation. This once again affirmed Vietnam’s capability and commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world.
