The US remained Vietnam’s largest export market in January, with a turnover of more than 1.4 billion USD, followed by China and South Korea.

Export revenue from phones and accessories totaled more than 52 billion USD last year. Phones and accessories ranked second in export value, followed by computers, electronics, and components.

Vietnam is increasingly becoming an attractive investment destination for large corporations in the phone and component industry, including Apple of the US.

According to Apple’s 2022 global supplier list, 25 of their current suppliers are setting up factories in Vietnamese provinces and cities.

Foxconn, one of Apple’s largest contractors, has invested in building factories in Bac Giang and Nghe An since the end of 2022.
