(VOVWORLD) - Foreign media is reporting that Vietnam’s growing export has brought about positive signs for enterprises and the economy.

Switzerland’s timvest.ch website reported Vietnam’s total import-export turnover of commodity was estimated to reach more than 240 billion USD in the first four months of this year.

Germany’s newspaper Finanzmarktwelt highlighted Vietnam’s full reopening post COVID-19 pandemic, with positive signs seen in all sectors.

The einpresswire.com said Vietnam’s rice exports to Europe continued to grow in the first quarter of 2022, thanks to the EU-Vietnam free trade agreement (EVFTA). There is still room for Vietnamese rice exports in ASEAN markets, it reported.

Malaysia’s thestar.com quoted that Vietnam saw positive signs of attracting and disbursing foreign direct investment.  Vietnam licensed 454 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of 3.7 billion USD between January and April. Many European investors have expressed their optimism about investment in Vietnam, it said.
