Hang responded to a reporter's question about the US administration of President Donald Trump placing Vietnam on the list of countries under trade investigation under Section 301 of the US Trade Act of 1974.

“Production and business activities in Vietnam always aim for sustainable development and strictly comply with relevant regulations, including those of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Recently, economic, trade, and investment relations between Vietnam and the United States have continued to develop positively and bring benefits to businesses and people of both countries,” she said.

According to the spokeswoman, Vietnam regularly exchanges and dialogues with the United States and will continue to coordinate closely with relevant US agencies to share information and clarify Vietnam's policies and regulations, aiming to build a stable, long-term, and mutually beneficial economic cooperation framework between the two sides.
