Politburo's Resolution on developing Hanoi in new era promulgated

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam has just signed and issued the Politburo's Resolution on "Building and Developing Hanoi in the New Era". The Resolution outlines five development perspectives for the capital city, confirming that Hanoi is the national political and administrative center, a center that plays a leading role in shaping new development models and mindset.

The Resolution sets out the goals that by 2035, Hanoi will become a green, smart, and modern city; a convergence of cultural excellence, deeply integrated into the international community; with high competitiveness, political and social stability, a peaceful city, happy people, and a safe, friendly, and attractive destination.

By 2045, Hanoi will become an important innovation center in the Asia-Pacific region, a hub for knowledge and technology with modern infrastructure and urban governance; a high quality of life for its citizens; a civilized, safe, livable, and happy society.

Looking towards the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Hanoi in 2054 and by 2065, Hanoi is planned to be a global city with a high and sustainable level of development.
