This is the first documentary ever made about Vietnam's coffee culture and philosophy. It was produced by Warner Bros. Discovery in collaboration with Vietnamese coffee chain Trung Nguyen Legend.

It took Discovery over a year to research and release the film. The team spent over a month filming and interviewing in Vietnam, China, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others.

The post-production took two months to complete and the final product was first released in Australia and New Zealand.

It will be aired  in Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, India, and other Asian countries and territories on the Discovery Channel this Thursday.

‘The Tao of Coffee’ offers a multi-dimensional, practical, and objective perspective on Vietnam’s coffee with data and qualitative inputs from Vietnamese and international experts, coffee farmers, agricultural engineers, and consumers.

The potential and strength of Vietnam’s coffee, and stories about the country and its culture, people, and desire to integrate are also highlighted.
